Community and sharing
There is no feed and no followers. Here is what sharing does exist, and the rules that govern it.
There is no feed
Word for Word has no public timeline, no followers, no likes, and no comments. Nothing you write is visible to another user by default, and there is no discovery surface where your writing could appear.
What sharing exists
You can share a Scripture passage or a reflection you received, as an image or a link, using your device's own sharing tools. That is a deliberate act you take on a specific item; it never shares an entry, and it never happens automatically.
Prayer requests to people you choose
Where a prayer is shared with someone, it is shared with a named person you selected, for that prayer only, and it can be withdrawn. Shared prayers are not searchable and are not shown to anyone else.
Rules for anything shared
- Do not share another person's private information in a prayer or reflection.
- Do not use sharing to harass, shame, or pressure anyone.
- Do not present a reflection as though it were a message from God to someone else.
- Keep Scripture attribution intact, as the licensing terms require.
If something is misused
Report it from the support page. Accounts that use sharing to harm people lose access to it.
